Two Easy Ways To Boost Blog Traffic

Syndicate Your Blog on BlogRushMore blog readers means more opportunities. I know you agree with that statement because that’s why you are reading this post. So here are two easy things that you can do to increase your blog reader traffic. What opportunities you can create from there will be the topic for a future article.

  1. Listen to the blogcatalog interview I did with one of the experts from BlogCatalog.com. We talk about how to get blog readers and how to find joint venture partners for your online business. Every month I see a steady flow of new traffic from BlogCatalog.com and other social blog catalog sites. If you are looking for a solid way to build real relationships with your readers and other bloggers, then listen to this talkshoe interview and find out how.

  2. Signup for a free BlogRush account and syndicate your blog posts on keyword targeted blogs. Remember, this is just one of the many ways that you should consider for getting reader traffic to your blog. This will not be a silver bullet for traffic generation but it promises to be a good method of sharing traffic between blogs. Your posts will appear on related blogs based on targeted context matching and blog categorization. This will put your blog posts on relevant blogs so you will get in front of the right reader audience.

Oh, and be sure to look for an upcoming blog post on what not to do when hosting a conference call using TalkShoe.com. I’ll share with you what I learned on the BlogCatalog call. It will save you some grief if and when you ever decide to conduct your own phone interviews.

Enjoying life,

Just installed the widget on my blog. Let’s see what it does within the next 2-3 weeks as Blog Rush spreads. Found this post through the widget.

Thanks for sharing your information on/via Dr. Mani’s marathon. I hope you also donated something. I also enjoy this format because you list easy to read resources. Keep up the great work! Mary

I, too, just installed the widget. I’m not interested in a ‘Rush’ of visitors in as much as the ‘right’ visitor. If Blog Rush has the alorithms working, then I look forward to seeing the results. The last thing I want to see is higher readership turnover, though.

Yes. I absolutely agree. It is for us to do our part when the reader shows up and the tools part to match the content correctly. From what I have seen so far it appears to do a good job of matching up relevant words. Only time will tell if the traffic will stick. Thanks for the comment and please let me know how it goes for you. A good article on the topic might not be a bad idea so keep track of your stats as things progress.

Also just found this site due to the BlogRush widget! Glad that I was turned on to it and I hope it delivers at least half of what it claims.

Every time I see the blog rush widget on a related blog, I see an article from “OpenSourceMarketer” there. How did you do it? Do you have a lot of referrals already?

    • OpenSourceMarketer - http://OpenSourceMarketer.com says:

That’s good to hear. I did sign up as soon as I heard about it. I think the idea has merit. As more people join and the dust settles there should be a better balance, at least I would hope there would be. I appreciate the traffic, but it should be balanced so readers don’t become blind to the blogs listed in the widget.

I found your blog from BlogRush. I really like it and I am sure the content matching will just get better and better given the folks behind it.
    Glad I found you btw.
    All the best!
